Russell Vargo was raised north of Austin, Texas and has recently spent 4 months producing a documentary in collaboration with Meaningful Volunteer Nepal. A devoted athlete and scholar during his youth, Russell has grown to develop a deep passion for artistic, and social awareness pursuits. Most of his days are spent acting, creating music, capturing time lapse photography, and cinematography. Having studied diligently under Tom Ardavany in Los Angeles since 2008, the approach he takes to life is grounded in the moment. And gratitude. He has also studied with Michael Knowles, James Bontempo from A.M.D.A., and Roy Eisenstein. Russell has worked with filmmakers Michael Knowles (Old Friends / New Beginnings), Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Til Dawn), Jordan Stephens (Smalton), Laura Harbron (Toscar's 2012/2014), Jack Gibson (Cowboy Nemo), Trevor Simms (Misirlou), Carolyn Corbett (Hewn Pictures), Josef Cannon (Cannon Vision Productions), and many more. He has been featured on Dell (Arts + Labor), Corona (Unir A La Gente), Miller Lite (Billboard), Nature Made (Scientist), EA Sports (Fan) and Jumpman (Fan) commercials. As well as over 16 television programs (Perception, 90210, Glee, Days of our Lives, Kiler Women, From Dusk Til Dawn).
