Bill Weeden plays Assistant Principal Leslie Klemmer in the go90 high school comedy series "Mr. Student Body President," for which he won a 2017 Streamy award as part of the "Best Ensemble." Weeden is a Broadway songwriter, a multi-award-winning cabaret performer, and a purveyor of corporate entertainment who has been profiled on NBC's "Today" and the front page of The Wall Street Journal. He is prominently featured on several successful comedy videos from Upright Citizens Brigade and Lorne Michaels's Above Average. Weeden played Hucklebee, the boy's father, in the final cast of "The Fantasticks" at the Sullivan Street Playhouse. He has done Shakespeare, Chekhov, Aeschylus, Shepard, Miller, Guare, Ibsen, the two "horror" musicals ("Little Shop" and "Rocky"), and many other stage ventures both straight and musical. He stars in the Troma cult film classic "Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D." As a comedy writer, he has created material for Lily Tomlin, Carol Channing, Stiller & Meara, Madeline Kahn, Dick Shawn, and many others. He is the co-creator (with David Finkle and Sally Fay) of "Move It and It's Yours," a musical which has received acclaim and awards in regional theater.
