Kyoko Takenaka (Jinjabrew) is a bilingual actor, butoh dancer, musician, filmmaker and performance artist based in Los Angeles. They are the guitarist and vocalist of the queer Afro-Asia band, WASTEWOMXN. Their self-directed debut short film, HOME, reached viral fame in 2021 and was shared over 335,000 times, resonating with many on the experience of growing up Asian American.
