Mazin Akar is an American Actor of Lebanese decent who was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. His passion for the dramatic arts began while playing Nathan Detroit in a high school production of 'Guys and Dolls.' He studied acting professionally at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) and The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York, NY. It was there he discovered the Meisner technique of Acting during a two-year training program which he successfully completed in May 2013. Mazin is known for his guest starring roles in shows such as Showtime's Emmy-Award winning series 'Homeland', 'Marvel's Jessica Jones' and the upcoming Netflix original series, 'Halston' co-starring alongside Ewan McGregor. Upcoming films include Rodrigo Bellot's 'Blood Red Ox' and the award-winning short film 'Valens'; marking his directorial debut. - IMDb Mini Biography By: ---
