Born in Scotland and a dual US/UK citizen, Salma is a versatile and accomplished actor, singer and producer whose credits span from "Blue Bloods" to "Othello," but in a previous life, she was a rocket scientist who worked with NASA and the Department of Defense. Since transitioning to New York from DC, Salma has steadily worked in theater and TV, booking network roles on ABC, CBS, NBC, HBO, Hulu and MTV and was a series regular on Here TV's, "People you Know." She also co-founded the MENASA Artists Coalition in NYC and co-produced the group's first AEA-sponsored cabaret. Salma is also passionate about education and is always studying something new (most likely a language - spoken and computer-based - to add to her Urdu, Hindi, Spanish, German, Arabic and C skills).
