Bob Bekian was born in Venice, CA in 1962. He is a Producer, Director, Media Entrepreneur, Weapons Specialist, and Hollywood Preservationist. Bekian grew up on the streets of the California beach town skateboarding with the notorious Z Boys of Dogtown. Bekian has applied that strategy throughout his career, putting himself through college cooking fish (700 Dinners per night) and earning a business degree from Cal State Northridge. Paying his dues in the corporate world for 10 years, Bekian was recruited into the entertainment industry after executing a large contract for Warner Brothers and Disney. That caught the attention of a Sony media distributor who hired Bekian to run the Company. Using his marketing and sales skills, Bekian grew the Company from $5 Million in revenue to $30 million in 4 years. Partnering then with the Founder of CDW, Bekian continued to grow the Company and executed contracts with the NBA and NBC Universal. Bekian obtained an ownership position in the Company and then sold it in order to start his own high definition rental company, ProHDrentals. From there, Bekian launched Loyal Studios in Santa Monica, Loyal Studios Burbank, acquired GreenscreenLA.com, and developed RealHD.TV -- a cable and web channel scheduled to go live in 2013. Bekian has produced over 800 commercials, webisodes and directed dozens of infomercial s as well as Reality Show segments and VFX productions. An expert in firearms and weapons, Bekian has also appeared in several features and other types of media using various guns and explosives and will appear in several upcoming programs including Hollywood Legends and Venice 13. As a Hollywood preservationist, Bekian has collected and cataloged thousands of pieces of Hollywood memorabilia including Science Fiction , Glamour and Action film genres. Bekian continues to innovate and combine creativity with a solid business plan and in 2012 launched a high-tech virtual HD studio with over 1000 digital stages, backgrounds and visual effects creating a true "one stop" production shop. Combining his 3 studios with his 75 cameras, 40 tons of grip and lighting equipment and top level technical crew and support has positioned Bekian to continue leading the new type of technical production that is so prevalent today.
