Inga Eiss was born in Pretoria, South Africa to a farmer named Johan and a pharmacist named Gretel. From an early age, she expressed an affinity for the arts. She was a voracious reader, loved painting and drawing, and demonstrated a marked proficiency for ballet. While attending middle school, Eiss immigrated to the United States with her family to escape political turmoil in her home country. They settled in Ocala, Florida, a small town known as the "Horse Capital of The World." Eiss began acting her junior year of high-school upon transfer to Ocala's performing arts magnet program. She instantly fell in love with the craft and knew acting would become her career. She was honored as one of six women accepted into the Bachelor of Fine Arts acting program at the University of Central Florida and moved to Orlando to continue her studies. She enjoyed several stage appearances then settled on acting for the camera. After earning her BFA, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she made her network debut in the CBS remake of MacGyver (2016). She co-starred in Investigation Discovery's Your Worst Nightmare (2017) then went on to play Andi Katz, the lead's best friend, in the Lifetime original movie, Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer (2017). Eiss appeared in the DC Comics series, Doom Patrol (2019) and will be appearing in Disney's live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp (2019). She was born on October 5th, 1990 as a middle child. She considers her sisters, Melissa and Christine, two of her best friends. When she's not acting, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, listening to podcasts, and watching great content. She's passionate about health and fitness, plays regular tennis and is a devoted yogi. She was awarded Best Acting/Female for the 48 Hour Film Project Orlando and received Ocala Civic Theatre's Bright Young Artist college scholarship four consecutive years.
