Sonya Cote is a also a professional singer, voice actor and author. Born in Montreal, Sonya is fluent in French and English and began acting at the age of 4 on her father's television show Tween Set. At 13, she was professionally singing in bars and musical theatre productions, worked as a model and did commercials, jingles and voice work. She left home at 18 and literally sang for her supper on the streets of Montreal for a year, where she busked, playing guitar and singing. Tired of going hungry, Sonya left for Toronto and stripped her way through a decade, then performed and traveled as a singing vaudeville burlesque performer and big band jazz singer from NYC to Mumbai to Paris, and has 3 CD recordings. She chronicled and published many of these stories, and also published a book, titled I'm Not Naked(anymore); Memoirs of a Contemporary Jezebel (2018). - IMDb Mini Biography By: Sonya Cote
