Boris Bilic was born in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. At the age of 2, he and his family moved to Vancouver, where he was raised until he was 18. Before he discovered acting, his parents had him try everything from ice-skating, hockey and soccer to swimming, baseball and volleyball. But nothing really felt right for Boris except the arts. Namely, telling stories, drawing, music, writing, and eventually, performing. From age 11 to 17, Boris built a career doing theatre, and ended up falling in love with the Bard in the process. He was involved in numerous Shakespearean productions across Vancouver, including at the world-famous Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival. Even after eventually co-founding a theatre company with some of his closest friends - Alchemy Theatre - he decided it was time for a change and moved to the United States to pursue film acting. He spent 2 years at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts's conservatory program in Los Angeles, and almost immediately after he graduated, he began working on such films as Survival Box, The Art of Drowning and Afterthought. Even while on set, Boris continued to expand his ability as a storyteller by learning to direct and write his own projects, beginning in 2018 with the film Retail. When not acting, Boris can be found at the movies, solving Rubik's cubes, cooking increasingly complex dishes, drawing, painting, playing the guitar and piano, and doing yoga. - IMDb Mini Biography By: anonymous
