Janmarco Santiago, born January 28, 1991, is a Miami-born actor, singer, director and cinematographer best known for his latest role opposite Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez as Fernando, Domenic Toretto's Cuban cousin in The Fate of the Furious, directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, Friday.) He has been training in the arts from the young age of 8, having played the violin throughout his childhood. He attended the prestigious New World School of the Arts High School in Miami, FL and was part of their Musical Theater program in which he received extensive dance, singing and acting training. He graduated in 2009 and proceeded to attend the University of Miami in which he obtained his Bachelor's degree in the Music Business and Entertainment Industries major at the prestigious Frost School of Music. While at the University of Miami, Janmarco discovered a newfound love for the production side of the film industry while also continuing to take part as a performer in various projects such as Flea Market Finish Line and other small university projects. His second to last semester proved to be a successful one for him. He was director of cinematography for the short film Emory, which ended up winning Best Intermediate Level Short at the 'Canes Film Festival, later screening at the Paramount Studios for various LA executives. The film was also nominated for Best Short at the Miami International Film Festival. Janmarco continues to be a working actor, having had roles on popular TV shows such as Drop Dead Diva and the 2016 Blackpills production entitled, "Tycoon", directed by Louis Letterier (The Transporter).
